A round success

In spite of the "trench" that were interfering the accesses to go to the Fairground Enclosure of the Field House, caused by the works of the mayoralty, "FICAAR & JEEP 2007" it was celebrated successfully last March 2nd , 3rd and 4th in Madrid. One more year overcame its own aims in public's assistance, in exhibitors quantity and in number of represented Countries. The Official Inauguration of the Hunting Meeting was realized on Friday by: General Manager of the Medio Natural de la Comunidad de Madrid, Excmo. Mr Don Michael Allue-Andrade, Luis del Olmo, General manager of Promoción y Disciplina Ambiental de la Comunidad de Madrid, Nicanor Ascanio, President of the Federación de Madrid, Nicolas Franco, President of the Consejo Internacional de la Caza y Conservación de la Fauna and other personalities of the Hunting World, accompanied of Alberto Nuñez Seoane, Managing director of FICAAR, and Juan José Fernández, FICAAR Manager.

FICAAR assembled cultures of 30 Countries of 5 Continents and showed a bunch of offers in 258 Booths, which were covering the high part and the first floor of the enclosure. This year extended its range with 29 more exhibitors with regard to last year. FICAAR provided an extraordinary hunting shop window to the visitor, including from accessories for estates, weapon, art, crafts, automotion, and ammunition, cutlery, hunting abroad and in Spain, optical, until complements, jewels, gastronomy, health, books and videos, furniture, tows between others.

12.000 sqm of the Cristal Pavilion of the Fairground Enclosure of the Field House of Madrid received, during 3 days of Fair, more than thousand professionals of the Armory, and 31.000 people of public adding 32.000 visitors in whole, 10 % more than last year, which allows to demonstrate, with numbers, the importance that FICAAR has and the excellent opportunities that the public can find in this only shop window.

FICAAR & JEEP 2007, also, relied on activities to complement the time of leisure of the visitor, they all had time to entertain and to pass awhile differently, some journalists took part in a course of trying wine, at the expense of OSBORNE, children and adults they enjoyed the exhibitions of: greedy birds in flight, canine, taxidermy and the exhibition of 4x4 of JEEP, official sponsor of the fair, also, the most crowded contests of virtual shot, shoot with carbine, photography, supported for www.personalizatetumismo.com, and touch of shells, without stopping mentioning the TOMBOLÓN, that one more year delivered 30.000 Euros in prizes: trips, jewels, complements, weapon and other articles, the list of the lucky ones will be able to consult here.

FICAAR & JEEP in its IX Edition was characterized, once again, for innovations and excellent offers provided, also for the quality of the organization, that from already, they announced the dates of the celebration of the X Edition of FICAAR & JEEP 2008, from February 29th to March 2nd and for which they already rely on 50 % of the sold space.
