PHOTOGRAPHY EXPOSITION CONTEST

Prizes: First prize: 900 €. Second prize: 600 € Third prize: 300 €

Thematic: hunting and shooting around the world.

May participate professionals and anyone keened on.

Dimensions: mínimo 40x50 cm.


Deadline: photographs to be received before 22 february 2008.

Contest Bases


TAXIDERMY CONTEST

- The contest will remain open to all of the taxidermist that wish to participate.
- Each author may present a maximum of 5 creations.

Prizes:

The public will choose with their votes the best three works of this contest. There is a prize of 600 reserved for the winner, but the three of them will receive a congratulations plate for participating.

The results will be published in all the hunting magazines of April, this is one month after the fair takes place.


AIR GUN SHOOTING CONTEST

All the fair's visitors can test their skill participating in the shooting gallery.

Prizes: The contestant can shoot ten times per turn, and the one who manages to make the best score of all the three days fair will obtain a compressed – air rifle.


VIRTUAL SHOOTING GALLERY

During all the day the visitors can try their hunting skills in a virtual shooting gallery. The only thing they have to do is pull the rifle's trigger and try to hunt all the different bird species that will appear on the screen; partridges, pheasants and much more.


HAWKING EXHIBITION

During the morning and the evening there will be three exhibitions of falconers making hawking demonstrations and flights of all sorts of prey birds.


"CARACOLAS" HORN BLOWING COMPETITION

"Caracolas" are the instrument used by hunting people in Spain to call dogs. Contest of trying to sound them opened to all visitors.

  1. The competition is open to all the Hound trainers that may request it 15 days before the fair takes place.

  2. If the applications received exceed the maximum number, which is 24, they would be short-listed.

  3. There will be two groups of four Competitors everyday, and the best of each group will be selected for the final Competition to be held on the closing day of the fair.

  4. The panel of judges which will be made up of members of the hound trainers, Association and other recognised Organizations will assess the skills of the Horn blowers as well as the “cries” normally used to draw the attention of the dogs.

Prizes: Awards will be given to the four best competitors.
